Order Up!! Online teaching!!!

The Attic on Coronado Island asked for more merchandise so here they are.  Everything was sent yesterday.  So excited to be in such a cute boutique again!  This is their site: The Attic

For those of you who have asked about online classes I will be teaching the first in many (I hope) coming July 6th.  It's been approved for July 6 but it's not listed yet.  Calling all Fiber-holic students out there!  The first online class will be my Treasure Hunt Tassel (pics above and below) on the "A is For Artistic" online class web site HERE.   These are like no other tassel you have ever seen and the pictures really don't do them justice.  They're VERY big and really make a statement.  It's an ideal project for those of us who, a hem, "collect stuff".   Stay tuned for more online classes from other sites (maybe learn how to solder around polymer clay beads?) and if you have any requests let me know!  As soon as the tassel class is listed I'll let you know here and on FB.  The faces I use will also be for sale in my Etsy store and I might even have some treasure hunt tassel kits for those of you you don't have a bunch of junk! Here are some pics of the tassel class:

CREATE students & class info

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made some fabulous soldered boxes and fairy vessel earrings these last two days.  Amazing talented women, all of you.  Please forward pictures of your pieces and I'll post them. They need to be fairly small and vertical.

I wanted to give a heads up to my students interested in the Soldering basics class in San Diego at the Bead Gallery.  For some reason it's not listed on their site YET, but it is scheduled for Saturday June 18 10-4p and it's a great course for newbys.  Please call the store to register 858-831-9190 and while your at it tell them to list the class!!!!

Coronado

Serendipity~ That's what I call it.  Laying on my couch utterly exhausted from a show the day before,  I did what I normally don't do and that is stay stationary...cruising blogs and web sites.  I came across a blog for a store on Coronado Island in San Diego called The Attic.  Intrigued by the pictures she had and the lovliness of her store I contacted her to make an appointment and possible sales, got a response right back and brought some of my wares for her to purchase last Friday.

Just got an email last night and she has already sold some of the bottles and a necklace and wants more!!  Yay!  It's such a great boutique, full of vintage and new furniture, jewelry, home decor, bling, crowns, birds, chandeliers, vintage clothes, soaps, pillows, candles and more.  Their store is keeping up with the latest trends show casing their inventory in clever vignettes in every corner, drawer, shelf (and ceiling!)with very reasonable prices.  Here is the address:
 1112 Tenth Street
Coronado,Ca
619-435-5614
I highly suggest you either take a mini vacation on Coronado Island, home of the Hotel Del Coronado or at least meander the magical island for your self this summer.  It is breathtaking and you don't even have to go far to feel your on vacation!  Just take the Coronado exit off I-5, cross the famous Coronado bridge and your there!  Scroll down to see pictures and click to get close ups.
What glitter girl wouldn't want a vintage crown an prom dress hanging from her ceiling?
