Those of you who aren't on facebook miss out a lot on my posts since I am constantly updating with photos from instagram as to my day to day goings' on so I thought I should update my blog amidst all that is happening. I just finished an order for Atelier Femme in Pasadena,CA and delivered it yesterday. She is celebrating Hispanic month and wanted lots of Mexican folkart type work so I brought in Frida necklaces, hand painted sugar skulls and some of my art prints.
Next weekend is the ever popular GLITTERFEST! And now I have 1 week of un-interupted time to work on nothing else but GF and I'm soooo excited! My studio has a flurry of projects waiting to be finished or made and I just started working on a mosaic last night and hope to finish that today (will post pics). In the mean time hear is a picture of a mosaic I made for my sister in law for a wedding gift a couple weeks ago:
In the mean time I am teaching online classes for a new venue and there is a little write up on me Here:

After Glitterfest I will be in San Diego as a guest speaker and teacher. I was contacted by the San Diego Bead Society a few months ago to do a lecture on mixed media (Sat.Oct 19) and teach a class Sunday Oct.20. All are welcome. For information click here;

After that I intend on attending a craft show in Costa Mesa that I've heard lots of wonderful things about Oct.25
called Artistic License Fair. My friend Linda Bucci will be vending and it looks like lots of other wonderful artists too.
The next large event I'll be doing, for the first time, looks absolutely devine and fabulous. I wish I could attend it myself but I'll be vending and living vicariously through all the attendees. It's called Spellbound. Check it out. I think they still have spaces and it looks like the cream de la cream of all art retreats....just exquisite.
I have a few more classes I'll be teaching to end the year and then hopefully after Dec.15 during a break I'll be video taping online classes and finishing my book proposal. Here is the line up of classes for the remaining year (click each link for info). Hope to see you!
Nov. 16: Whimzy, Tustin Ca. AND Dec. 14 at private residence in Santa Ana (contact me for that info)
WHIMSICAL BRACELET WRAP
Nov. 30, Rainmaker Ranch hosted by Lisa Sarvak Heaney (please contact me directly if you are interested), Whimsical Soldered Box
DECEMBER 8, Xmas Ornies private home in Sherman Oaks (contact me directly if interested)
