Optional Kits are going to be available for purchase so you won't have to bring anything except jewelry pliers for $15-20. Otherwise there is a materials list. Okay, I rode my bike to Borders this past Monday and did something I NEVER do anymore....I sat in the craft book section and looked at books for about 2 hours! I came home with my newest obsession and inspiration **MOSAICS! I never do this because I am so busy making my own stuff but I needed to get out of the house and chill. Until Monday I had never heard of Laurel Skye and I wasn't really looking for any kind of book in particular but when I saw her book, Mosaic Renaissance, I imediately fell in love with her style and her story. I love how she adds mosaic to EVERYTHING! Her entire house is mosaic...bath tub, shoes, entry way, floor, outside of house, toaster, dish washer and everything else. The mosaic skulls in her book were the tipping point and I had to buy it!! You GOTTA check out her web site and her short youtube clips. I guarantee you will be inspired too! I have a link to her book right here on Amazon called Mosaic Renaissance. She teaches in Arcata Ca......dose anyone want to take a road trip with me up to her home and learn?????
