Glitterfest!

Hi! I have been in a whirl wind of family and freinds, emergency rooms and unfortunately a funeral....needless to say not much time for creating in the studio or blogging. BUT I'm healthy and so is my family except my poor hubbie broke his arm yesterday! He was slammed into the sand by a large wave and thank God he didn't get hurt worse. My daughter starts school tomarrow which is always bitter sweet but I will have more time to be in my studio which leads me to GLITTERFEST. It's a Halloween/Christmas Mixed Media art show with a list of some impressive vendors, October 10 at the Elks Lodge on 212 S. Elk Lane, Santa Ana Ca. Hope to see you there!

Hello Robin
It sounds like you have had a rough time of late. Poor husband having a broken arm! I do hope it will mend soon and that you get your creativity back on track.
Take care

Glitterfest sounds right up my alley - unfortunately, that alley is on the OTHER ocean!

Hey Robin, I know that bittersweet feeling when it's time for the kiddies to go back to school. I experienced the same feelings with my adult children years ago.
Hope your hubby's arm mends soon. Go make art!

Hello,
I am doing an organic visit to wish my friends old and new, Happy Saturday!

What's an organic visit'? It's one that takes a natural course through an almost viral form. I'm visiting people YOU have had visit, and then visiting people they have had visit, and so on! Great way to reach out and talk to people.

Your post was delightful,

Hi Robin:
Bummer about your hubby, the e.r. and a death in the family. Sometimes life just sure dishes us out quite a bit.
August & early September were rough for me too, but onward and upward, right?
I applied for a space at Glitterfest, but have yet to hear back.
(no soldered stuff to compete with you though, I am still practicing to find my own voice within that medium)
Hope to see you there as a vendor and if not, a shopper.
Regards,
Lisa Loria
